ABOUT THE YOGA ALLOTMENT

Seasons of Transformation

In today's society we have many reasons to be completely out of tune with nature; artificial lighting, technology, and instant access to almost everything. We are becoming increasingly out of alignment with the natural cycles of the seasons and nature itself.

When we embrace a seasonal approach to living, we gain the advantage of resting when tired and exploring the world when we feel inspired.

When we listen to our bodies, we stop resisting their messages. As a result, we can look after ourselves and our health, intuitively and effectively.

The Yoga Allotment takes a seasonal approach to yoga which allows us to recognise cues from nature and allow ourselves what we really need. The result is that we feel nourished and cared for.

When we live in harmony with nature, we become intimately connected to it. The beauty, power and delicate balance of nature become our own qualities too.

ABOUT ME

Hello, I am Justine and I live on the North Norfolk Coast in the beautiful seaside town of Wells-next-the-Sea. I have been passionate about yoga and meditation and their limitless benefits, for many years.  â€‹

My love of the outdoors and growing my own vegetables on my allotment, have inspired me to become more mindful to the rhythms of nature and the seasons, and the benefit this brings to my health.

Now in my late 50's, I am finding yoga and meditation an essential way of living to keep my joints flexible and healthy, my muscles and bones strong and my mind clear and calm. I would love to share this way of living with you through yoga and meditaion classes.

My 200 hr yoga teacher training was with Daizan Skinner, founder of Zenways and the first Englishman to become a Roshi or Zen Master in the Rinzai school of Zen.
